Leading ferry booking platform was looking to enhance their user experience by completely redesigning existing interface and booking flow.

Andrei ceated a scalable UI system from scratch and rebuilt the whole website interface from the bottom up, using the newest technologies.

The client was an online payments platform offering multi-currency IBAN accounts, currency exchange, and global payment solutions for businesses. It catered to various sectors, including startups, import/export, and marketplaces, allowing them to manage cross-border transactions in up to 38 currencies. Additional services included B2B payments, global payroll, and virtual/physical prepaid cards to streamline financial operations.

The main challenge was to upgrade their existing legacy software to a state-of-the-art solution.

Andrei was responsible for the following areas:

• migrated 300 customers to the new system with well-written scripts and promptly fixed any bugs that were left after the migration;
• decreased operational costs by 30% by automating the currency conversion between different bank providers and accounts.

The project was a social shopping platform that allowed users to save and discover products online without algorithms. It enabled users to create polls, organize wish lists, and share items with friends, making shopping decisions collaboratively. The app promoted a personalized, ad-free experience where users can follow friends' recommendations and easily manage their favorite products.

Among others, Andrei's main contributions included:

• created the initial prototype in less than 3 months and achieved 1000+ users and 4000+ products saved;
• implemented a 7% affiliate commission on every transaction by integrating with most of the eastern European online retailers.

The client was a major international luxury clothing brand. The challenge was to upgrade its existing CRM structure to facilitate content updates.

Challenges Andrei tackled included:

• ensured pixel-perfect visual content by working closely with designers and putting extensive focus on visual and unit testing;
• developed an easy-to-use content management system by integrating a headless CRM into the Next.js codebase.

The customer, an investment firm focused on deep-tech ventures that drive innovation and foster long-term economic growth, struggled with lengthy verification processes for acquisition decisions and significant information losses throughout internal communications.

Andrei's contributions included as following:

• eliminated the loss of communication to virtually 0 by developing a web application to standardize the whole process and assign specific people for each operation step;
• gained an increase of 3x for the decision-making time by ensuring each member has access only to relevant data and by aggregating all the user input and displaying it coercively.

The client, an e-learning start-up dedicated to helping students with their university admission process, needed help scaling up the business and could not obtain more funding from investors due to needing a centralized system for content, staff, and stats.

• Secured funding of over $500k by building from scratch the MVP of a new centralized system by working closely with the client and understanding their needs. We also fixed 90% of bugs by fixing the flaws in the existing system architecture.
• Improved internal operations time by more than 200% and customer satisfaction by over 40% by improving the user feedback process and solving their existing problems.

The client, a start-up providing e-learning services for the fintech sector, struggled with low student satisfaction and low productivity among trainers due to needing a controlled environment for students to practice portfolio management.

• Built a successful MVP in less than 5 months by keeping a starling line of communication with the client and efficiently managing a team to optimize all client needs inside the web app.
• Increased company profit by over 60% and client’s customer pool by more than 25% by continuously growing the product over the next year and constantly releasing new, highly requested features.

The clients, a large group of Romanian high school students, were wasting money on private lessons and had no other efficient alternative when studying due to needing a platform for finding reliable information tailored to their needs.

• Succeeded in pitching the project to over ten media apparitions and talked to investors by taking part in a start-up accelerator by developing a fully tailored MVP from scratch in less than four months.
• We achieved over 20K users in the app and website, with over 30K hours of learning tracked in the first year after the launch. We consistently offered users sought-after features and continuously improved the product.
