• Joined as a founding engineer and shaped the company's core architecture, infrastructure, and engineering practices from the ground up.
• Architect and operate the production AWS environment end to end — covering deployment, operations, security, cost, and reliability — acting as the go-to engineer for anything infrastructure-related.
• Drive and take final responsibility for architectural decisions across Node.js/TypeScript services, React applications, and the data platform, aligning technical direction with business priorities.
• Designed, built, and own end to end the ingestion and transformation pipelines into Snowflake with dbt, integrating third-party data sources and advertising platforms.

A remote care platform that helps seniors live independently at home. Motion-triggered in-home cameras stream to trained virtual caregivers, who monitor activity, perform scheduled check-ins, dispatch help in emergencies, and generate daily activity reports that families can share with healthcare providers.

• Built the platform’s backend end to end as the sole backend engineer, taking the system from initial architecture through production operation.
• Architected the AWS infrastructure from scratch, including VPC, EC2, ECS, ALB, RDS, and VPN networking.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline to support reliable deployments and maintenance workflows.
• Engineered live IP camera streaming from in-home cameras using RTSP ingest over private VPN tunnels, initially delivering streams through WebRTC and later migrating to HLS when lower latency was no longer a requirement.
• Designed the streaming architecture so cameras could connect securely without requiring client-side Wi-Fi configuration.
• Built AI-driven activity analysis to automatically detect and tag monitored activity in pilot workflows alongside human caregivers.
• Designed the AI activity analysis system to help increase the number of clients each virtual caregiver could safely monitor.
• Developed backend services in Node.js and Go-based streaming services for video processing and delivery.
• Maintained approximately 99.9% platform availability, with recorded downtime primarily caused by an upstream network provider rather than application-level failures.
