This project explores how to make agencies’ statistical data products more readily ingestible by AI technologies. It will produce an AI readiness assessment as a shared resource for any agency looking to test the machine understandability of its public data products and an AI readiness prototype tool to transform public data products into machine-understandable, AI-ready data.

• Developed a scorecard and rubric to evaluate AI readiness;
• Authored reports assessing government data for AI readiness;
• Presented findings and recommendations to high-ranking government officials;
• Initiated the development of a tool to automate the evaluation of datasets for AI readiness;
• Began work on a software solution to transform government datasets for improved AI compatibility.

A platform was developed to support the secure upload, storage, discovery, and analysis of experimental data generated in wet lab environments. The system was designed with a strong focus on maintaining data confidentiality and ensuring a verifiable chain-of-custody, which is critical for supporting regulatory approval processes such as those required by the FDA.

• Designed the system architecture for a lab-wide data management platform used to centralize and unify access to experimental data;
• Eliminated data silos by enabling full data discoverability and searchability within a single system;
• Implemented a Chinese Wall model to protect confidential partner data, allowing secure sample processing without revealing sensitive drug development outcomes;
• Enabled data segregation within single lab instruments, significantly reducing equipment costs and turnaround times;
• Reduced the cost and complexity of FDA audits through improved data accessibility and traceability;
• Preserved negative experimental results, typically discarded, to support future machine learning model training.

A private equity platform built on a quasi-crowdsourced model, designed to broaden access to investment opportunities beyond traditional PE structures. While still requiring accredited investor status, the model enables a wider pool of participants, offering greater flexibility and reach compared to conventional funds. The platform supports streamlined capital deployment and investor management across multiple deals.

• Built CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure;
• Used Kubernetes and Terraform to set up a system that could auto-scale to handle tens of thousands of users per hour with a minimal budget;
• Performed load testing and discovered bottlenecks;
• Optimized various aspects of the application (frontend, database, application server) to handle the required load, multiple order-of-magnitude performance improvements;
• Implemented zero-downtime deployments to ensure uninterrupted service availability during release cycles;
• Created a system that allows for an arbitrary number of fully valid integration environments at negligible additional hosting cost.

A platform designed for private equity and venture capital professionals to streamline the collection of financial reports from portfolio companies. It enabled users to view, analyze, and generate consolidated reports, improving visibility and decision-making across the investment portfolio.
