Pablo – Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible

A SaaS platform used by tens of thousands of users every day, supporting high-volume traffic of more than 5,000 requests per second during peak hours. The platform provides reliable digital services at scale and requires continuous monitoring and deployment to maintain availability and performance.

• Develop CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions;
• Develop and maintain deployments using custom Helm charts on Kubernetes;
• Deploy and manage multiple resources on Azure Cloud using IaC (Terraform);
• Monitor the platform status and its different microservices using Prometheus and Grafana.

A streaming and digital content platform serving millions of connected devices and users, handling more than 20,000 requests per second across a distributed infrastructure. The platform required reliable monitoring and infrastructure management to maintain availability and performance at high scale.

• Collect metrics and logs through agents, including from "black box" systems with very limited access;
• Create visual representations of collected data in Grafana;
• Automate repetitive tasks and workarounds for known issues by triggering Ansible playbooks through alerts;
• Deploy and manage an on-premise Kubernetes cluster using an Ansible-assisted kubeadm deployment, with Calico as CNI and Istio as service mesh and ingress controller;
• Administer and maintain internal tools and platforms, including Grafana, Loki, GitLab, Ansible AWX, InfluxDB, and MinIO.

A range of networking and virtualization solutions supporting small and medium-sized customers that relied on the platform for the delivery and management of their infrastructure projects.

• Migrate over 100 VMs between data centers with minimal downtime while transitioning virtualization from KVM/QEMU to VMware; also dockerize over 50 services, reducing VM count and resource usage;
• Set up a Ceph cluster and use shared storage to migrate between Proxmox clusters with virtually no downtime;
• Develop custom alerts and metrics for the monitoring solution (Zabbix).

Networking and virtualization solutions for multiple small and medium-sized customers that relied on the team for their infrastructure projects. The work also included Level 2 technical support for customer environments.

• Monitor and manage over 500 physical servers and VMs;
• Keep servers and services patched and upgraded;
• Monitor and manage dozens of edge firewalls, including access and site-to-site VPNs, Multi-WAN configurations, and network policies.
