An AI-powered search and sales assistant built specifically for e-commerce businesses. Its core pitch is "Ask Anything. Find Everything" — positioning it as a conversational shopping assistant that helps customers find products and get answers directly on a retailer's website.

• Maintained a scalable Nx monorepo spanning 8+ applications and shared libraries;
• Built specialized LangChain agents including triage, guided search, sizing, and store locator agents, integrated with both OpenAI and Anthropic backends;
• Developed scalable and reliable REST endpoints using NestJS, TypeORM and PostgreSQL;
• Mantained a full Typesense full-text search integration with filter generation, faceted search, and vector embeddings for semantic product discovery;
• Built a dashboard using Next.js App Router, Mantine UI and Tailwind CSS, including a 7-step onboarding flow, analytics, subscription management and live widget preview;
• Developed an embeddable chat widget with a dual-build system (app and JS library), featuring 35+ custom hooks for scroll locking, exit intent, conversion tracking and proactive engagement;
• Architected a distributed background worker system on AWS SQS with 10+ specialized pipelines for product import, vector embedding generation, Typesense sync and website crawling;
• Integrated Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento and WooCommerce product connectors, alongside Stripe for billing, WorkOS for auth, Firecrawl for web scraping and Amplitude for analytics;
• Implemented comprehensive testing strategies using Vitest and Jest, covering unit, integration and e2e tests across services, agents, and API controllers.

The project was centered on the design and development of an advanced enterprise logistics platform tailored for a leading US-based transportation company. The platform aimed to streamline and optimize critical shipment booking and tracking operations. Key functionalities included real-time shipment tracking, automated booking workflows, dynamic scheduling, and comprehensive reporting tools.

• Strategically broke down features into actionable tasks, ensuring smooth and timely development cycles;
• Developed scalable and reliable endpoints using NestJS to enhance system performance;
• Implemented comprehensive testing strategies using Testing Library, Vitest, and Jest to ensure high code quality and stability;

The client was Brazil's next-generation logistics network, responsible for the seamless movement of over 300,000 packages daily. The main idea involved designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance systems to support mission-critical operations at scale.

Among others, Danilo carried out the following tasks:

• enhanced the React PWA used for managing packages across multiple logistics agencies, optimizing workflows for receiving, separating, and distribution;
• designed and implemented new functionalities in the system that managed the company's logistics network, improving operational efficiency;
• developed Grafana dashboards to monitor system performance and health, providing real-time insights into key features and overall system stability;
• produced detailed documentation outlining feature implementations, technical considerations, and best practices for future development;
• created robust gRPC and REST APIs using Django and NodeJS, supporting critical logistics operations and enabling third-party integrations;
• enforced high code standards through rigorous testing, employing tools such as Jest and Pytest, ensuring reliability across different services.

The customer was a healthcare technology company focused on empowering medical clinics in Brazil through innovative software solutions. The main purpose was to contribute to the development of a SaaS platform designed to streamline clinic management, improve patient care, and optimize operational efficiency.
