Procurement teams use it to collect and verify supplier data, manage assessment campaigns, benchmark responses and produce supply-chain sustainability reports. I joined the team for a three-month contract focused on customer-facing product improvements, application security and internationalization.

• Supported SOC 2 compliance from the application-security side by extensively testing and hardening Content Security Policy behavior across the application.
• Improved the platform’s newsfeed to surface more actionable information and help users identify supplier activity and results requiring attention.
• Closed i18n gaps by identifying untranslated user-facing content and ensuring application interfaces consistently supported localization.

US healthcare cybersecurity platform protecting more than 8,400 systems across 284 medical offices partnered with Sutter Health. While based in New York City, I led a two-developer engineering team and remained hands-on across product development, backend systems, reliability, performance and application security.

• Managed and technically led two software engineers, including work planning, requirements clarification, task scoping, code reviews and delivery coordination

Consumer cryptocurrency platform with more than 100,000 users, allowing people to send, receive and trade digital assets through social identities. While based in New York City, I served as principal engineer, owning major product features and production reliability across the Solana and Ethereum ecosystems.

• Built and scaled 2 major features which were used by 30,000+ of users and performed well under 100+ requests per second, allowing the service to grow and add 10,000+ users
• Restored service for 100k+ users within hours during a critical outage caused by Twitter API access cut-off, by swiftly designing and implementing workaround using alternative APIs. Leveraged my personal network to escalate the issue within Twitter, resulting in account unblocking within 48 hours.
• Resolved multiple instances of degraded service performance, restoring the service to sub-second request processing by analyzing slow SQL queries, adding relevant indices, caching or offloading workload to message queues, resulting in a 30% improvement in system performance and 20%+ infrastructure cost savings
• Performed regular application security and cryptography review for a cryptocurrency platform where vulnerabilities could result in irreversible loss of user funds, ensuring the security of financial operations handling digital assets for 100K+ users

Communication platform combining direct messaging, live audio rooms and graph-based social features. As staff engineer, I served as technical lead for two developers while owning major parts of the backend architecture, cloud infrastructure, testing strategy and data systems.
