Senior Frontend Developer
Filmsupply, a brand of FM.co, is a marketplace for short film content.

Technical Leader
The project involved implementing new business flows, streamlining existing ones, reducing technical debt (rewriting in TypeScript, updating legacy dependencies, rearchitecting), and minimizing the impact of unstable external providers on users. The app handled scheduling, access management, agent assignment, and customer feedback for apartment tours.
Dominik was responsible for the following:
- led the development of a booking app for renting touring apartments;
- led a team of 4 developers;
- managed migration from a legacy service hub to a modern middle-tier service architecture;
- created new frontend and backend architectures;
- worked with tight deadlines, legacy code inherited from another contractor and incomplete documentation.
CTO
The client was a telemedicine startup focused on mental health. It had four web apps, comprising online sales of medicines, issuing prescriptions, scheduling doctor appointments, and online health evaluations, plus a back-office. The solution was on the market for two years and had paying customers.
Among others, Dominik's contributions included:
- defined the technology stack, physical and business architecture, data model, APIs;
- implemented and tested the solution;
- created integrations with payment and electronic signature providers;
- managed requirements coming from the CEO;
- managed other developers working on the project;
- provided technical support.
Tech Lead
This particular project was carried out for a major US-based IT services company, focusing on providing efficient engineering & software solutions to clients of various sizes and domains.
Dominik was tasked with the following responsibilities:
- implemented a new design system in React (Material UI) components;
- tested new components against usability, accessibility and responsiveness.
Software Engineer Manager
The project was a real-time electronic bank transfer service that enabled seamless, fast, and secure money transfers for individuals and businesses. Targeting both private users and companies, they facilitated instant financial transactions, enhancing convenience and operational efficiency. Its services significantly impacted commerce by providing reliable, real-time payment solutions that streamline banking processes and improve the speed of commerce.
The main goal included:
- migration away from a 3rd party provider of electronic funds transfers (EFT) to an in-house solution in order to mitigate losses related to race conditions and periodic unavailability of their service, as well as an architecture with built-in contingency solutions.
Daily throughput was about $350.000 USD, serving 2M+ users.
Dominik's impact was done through such tasks:
- defined business and technical architecture;
- led the work of 5 developers;
- eliminated dependency on one external provider;
- mitigated losses of $50.000 per month, on average.
