The client was a SaaS platform designed for barbershops and salons, offering features like online booking, client management, and a POS system. It helped businesses streamline scheduling, manage staff, and process transactions. Additionally, this platform provided marketing tools and analytics to support business growth. Its purpose was to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experience for its users.

Eduardo's contributions included the following things:

• refactored old code into new standards, including creating new functionality;
• managed performance reviews of some processes;
• actively collaborated with other developers, ensuring seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic, enhancing overall application functionality and user experience.

The project was a dynamic SaaS application leveraging Ruby on Rails for the backend and EmberJs for the frontend to streamline workflows for professionals. It featured appointment scheduling, client management, billing, telehealth, and documentation tools, all within a secure, mobile-accessible platform. The application is integrated with third-party tools and complied with industry standards like HIPAA.

Eduardo's responsibilities included the following:

• crafted comprehensive reports by writing and executing raw SQL queries;
• managed the entire data flow process from query execution to presenting the results in an intuitive EmberJS UI, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data representation;
• maintained and enhanced an internal tool designed for synchronizing tasks between Pivotal Tracker and GitHub deploys;
• utilized troubleshooting, updating, and optimizing practices to improve workflow efficiency and task management.

The client provided global development solutions, targeting governments, donors, corporations, and philanthropies. Their services included governance, market efficiency, health, education, and climate solutions to foster sustainable development. Operating in over 150 countries, the project partnered with local institutions to ensure impactful and inclusive projects.

Eduardo was a part of a series of projects, aiming at aiding Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in their operational activities.

Among others, Eduardo was responsible for the following:

• played a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support in the development and strategic planning of various web applications;
• managed requirements, troubleshot issues, and delivered high-quality software solutions;
• developed robust applications using Python and Django, effectively utilizing PostgreSQL databases;
• deployed application on Heroku and Azure.
