As Client pursues a strategy of digital transformation, it was necessary to build stable and scalable cloud foundation following CAF landing zones concept. Moreover, cloud organization and security standards must be applied centrally to ensure consistency across Azure deployments. Projects’ scope was to implement Platform Landing Zone and build cloud governance guardrails, which provide the basis for network topology, security and resource consistency across business workloads of application and data landing zones in support of a data management solution.
- Designed Azure deployment following Cloud Adoption and Well-Architected Frameworks
- Deployed Platform Landing Zone
- Enabled Cloud Governance MVP enablement
- Led a 3-member team
Cloud Architect/DevOps Tech Lead
Re-platform of container- based workload deployed on GCP PaaS services to Azure with modernization to follow corporate cloud governance and compliance policies and standards. The focus was to automate deployment with Infrastructure as Code for multiregion provisioning capability, and keep the same level of performance and horizontal scaling capabilities as on GCP deployment. Moreover, the migration required zero-downtime for end users. Team with a cloud architect and two DevOps engineers delivered the project in 3.5 months.
- Performed a discovery phase with architecture vision and WBS as artifacts
- Designed Azure landing zone infrastructure
- Prepared Terraform modules and scripts to deploy infrastructure
- Built the GCP -> Azure transition strategy
- Prepared data migration pipelines
- Executed product's transition to a new platform with zero-downtime

The primary mission of the Platform is to document and manage content, along with workflow automation, which is the core functionality of Client’s business and operations. The Client also put forward strict security regulations that the platform should comply with. The solution involved designing an Azure Cloud and On-Premise compatible, scalable, maintainable, and highly-available infrastructure, as well as enforcing the Client’s security rules and compliance policies. Our team used established modern DevOps practices, like CI\CD, Infrastructure as a Code, and Configuration as a Code. As a result, the team re-platformed existing legacy solutions into one integrated Platform that will comply with a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, will be available in the cloud, as well as deployable on-demand onpremises. The team implemented scalable cross-environmental CI\CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure components using Azure DevOps Pipelines. And last but not least, we enabled centralized monitoring and log management using Elastic Stack as a Kubernetes deployment.
- Designed cloud infrastructure deployment
- Automated infrastructure deployment
- Modernized workloads' deployment to Kubernetes with Help and GitOps
- Enhanced security posture of cloud network topology
- Built cloud-based observability
- Applied cloud governance automated guardrails
- Migrated product to new platform with zero-downtime

The primary mission of the project was to extend on-premise deployment to Azure cloud for flexible solution scaling, reducing operational and maintenance efforts, and incorporating DevOps best practices. The solution involved designing an Azure Cloud scalable, maintainable, and resiliant infrastructure. Our team incorporated modern DevOps practices, like CI\CD and Infrastructure as a Code. As a result, the company extended existing on-premise solutions to Azure with fully automated deployment processes. SoftServe implemented scalable cross-environmental CI\CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure components using Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Designed Azure and On-Premise deployments
- Prepared project scope for a DevOps team
- Estimated the efforts
- Established DevOps best practices to CI\CD and Infrastructure management

- Set up and maintained TFS VNext build definitions, Nuget feed, and Octopus deploy
- Prepared ARM template and PowerShell scripts for creating environments
- Prepared Service Fabric configs for nine .NET Core applications
- Set up Kibana VM and Postfix relay VM under CentOS
- Set up custom SSO system on Azure Windows Server VM
