An adtech SaaS for managing marketing campaigns on streaming platforms, attribution and performance tools included.

• Planned and refactored core backend API;
• designed and implemented the renewed front-end core application;

• created Django admin with custom templating, HTMX, vanilla JS, and DaisyUI.

The project is a Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance software tailored (for now) to Chilean legislation. It allows companies to keep track of their audit processes, risk management, employee statements, and anonymous reporting of workplace incidents.

ETL pipeline for processing of a medical facility's data.

• Designed and evolved the infrastructure of an ETL pipeline for medical data;
• designed specific processes required for handling the input data;
• designed a python microservice that exposed a trained model prediction for a given query on the processed data;
• helped developers with their coding tasks when they got stuck;
• performed code reviews;
• negotiated feature scopes for each development sprint;
• presented showcases to the client.

QApp is a SaaS that provides a faster, simpler way of running earth model simulations, mostly used for oil drilling. The UI allows the user to structure the process as a graph, connecting and configuring different types of nodes, from data ingestion, to machine learning to output files and charts.

Freneticly.com is an e-trading platform that allows users to follow expert traders and copies their trades.

• Refactored the existing codebase, which was tightly coupled with a single e-trade provider;
• Integrated with two other providers.

Latam Airlines is a multinational airline based in Chile. Through their website, clients are able to book and buy tickets. Gael was part of one of the DevOps teams.

• Provisioned development environments and CI pipelines for development teams;
• built restrictive CI tools and workflows, required for auditing of a publicly traded company;
• developed multiple proofs of concepts for CI infrastructure and workflows;
• tested multiple CI tools and scaling strategies, aiming for a balance between performance and infrastructure costs;
• helped migrate some development teams over to a new CI platform;
• worked on the development of a Slack chatbot for CI management;
• configured multiple infrastructure monitoring tools and dashboards;
• debugged and resolved issues with the in-house database change management tool.

The platform involves multiple sites that allow for the orchestration and reporting of power generation plants connected to the country's power grid, as well as the calculation of payments. It also involves GIS data for some of the generation forecast calculations, has features for long and short-term planning, handling of planned or emergency maintenance, keeping track of technical audits, payment and invoice registration.

• wrote Docker images, data migration scripts, and handled deployments to production servers;
