A dashboard for a web-based interface that allows organization administrators to edit data for the company's mobile apps (50k+ users).

• Led the development of the entire frontend for a Single Page Application (partially server-side rendered), implementing new features and resolving bugs;
• Conducted code reviews and collaborated with fellow React developers to ensure code quality and maintainability;
• Identified technical debt issues in Jira and provided key architectural insights, influencing the platform’s development strategy;
• Worked closely with backend developers to optimize data exchange between the frontend and backend;
• Applied hands-on testing experience to propose UX improvements, enhancing user interaction flows for better efficiency.

A Progressive Web App (5.8 million € project) that allows Italian law enforcement to conduct on-site inspections in companies in order to detect any labour-related crimes (e.g. workers found without a regular employment agreement, health and safety measures not respected, health insurance not provided, etc.). The software allows scheduling and assigning inspections to particular units of the Carabinieri (part of the Italian armed forces) and allows producing all the legal paperwork (for the entrepreneurs, tribunal, the law enforcement on-site, etc.) should any crimes be detected.

• Developed the most complex features and designed the internal architecture of the service worker, a critical component of the PWA;
• Proposed key architectural decisions, such as generating PDF and Word documents on the client side instead of the backend, enabling offline file generation and significantly improving usability;
• Collaborated closely with the project manager to distribute workloads based on team members' skill sets, ensuring consistently high-quality code;
• Mentored junior developers, enhancing their expertise in React, TypeScript, and software development best practices, providing long-term value to both the project and Key2’s internal talent pool.

A database of documents that contains textual overviews of financial opportunities for companies and allows users to query them through many econometric parameters. For 3 years it has been used internally by Valore Consulting.

• Designed and developed the product from the ground up;
• Created mockups based on client requirements, validated concepts, and implemented the platform using React, Express, Node.js, and MongoDB;
• Maintained and continuously improved the platform over the years, incorporating client feedback and user interaction insights;
• Managed UI/UX design, frontend and backend development, and bug fixes across the entire stack.

It's part of a distributed system that powers a ticket printing system for movie theatres, museums, live concert events and more. It has a UI and allows installing a printer and monitoring of its operative state so that the technicians could intervene before their customers would notify them about printing incidents.

• Delivered a fully functional solution as a one-man software house, based on client specifications, including backend services and a UI that categorizes printer issues by organization and device group;
• Implemented the solution using React, Express, and MongoDB;
• Provided long-term maintenance and continuous improvements to ensure system reliability and alignment with evolving client needs.

An internal product maintained by a company that prints quality coloured books on a large scale. It deals with every aspect of the company, from keeping the wages, computing taxes the company has to pay, scheduling appointments with customers, designing books, setting up the printing machines, keeping records of inventory items, and anything.

• Collaborated daily with the CTO to coordinate feature development, bug fixes, and user support;
• Implemented technical improvements and gathered user feedback to develop enhancements that streamlined workflows;
• Assisted employees with desktop-related IT issues to ensure uninterrupted productivity;
• Developed the backend using PHP and PostgreSQL and the frontend using JavaScript.

An AI-powered application that through a camera placed in the production line would allow the detection automatically flaws in surgery screws before entering the compulsory manual flaw detection.

• Created the foundations of the front end;
• Created the visual input widget that would allow a user to teach the AI instance about what a flaw is;
• Debugged and maintained the React.js components;
• Interfaced every few days with the customer and had daily calls with colleagues.

Giordano worked on four projects:

• A web application enabling merchants to sign up for electronic payment device plans.
• An e-commerce platform for luxury clothing items.
• A photo-based social network.
• A platform for completing the necessary paperwork to access legal medical cannabis-based products in the U.S.

• Collaborated daily with a U.S.-based team, implementing features and resolving bugs;
• Developed backend and frontend functionality based on UI mockups;
• Earned full ownership of Rikodi due to strong performance, independently developing the platform;
• Communicated in English with colleagues and end customers, gathering feedback to refine and improve projects.
