A healthcare project supporting a network of private family medicine clinics, focused on delivering accessible primary care services and coordinating patient care across multiple locations.

• Scoped, designed, developed, tested, and deployed features in collaboration with the executive team, using product analytics to guide future priorities;
• Represented engineering in executive discussions, translating business requirements into actionable deliverables for a two-engineer team;
• Consolidated iOS, Android, and web applications into a single PWA codebase, reducing feature delivery time by more than 3x;
• Led the migration of a legacy JavaScript codebase to TypeScript, improving maintainability and code quality;
• Built AI agents that operated directly on patient health records within strict privacy and access-control requirements;
• Developed a compression-based document classifier in Rust and parallelized it across CPU cores to optimize performance for a CPU-bound workload.

A healthcare technology project consisting of two mobile applications designed for patients and medical professionals. The patient-facing app provides secure access to health records, telemedicine appointments, and health management tools such as medication and menstrual cycle tracking, including algorithm-based period and ovulation predictions. The medical staff app provides mobile access to core electronic medical record (EMR) functionality, including health record and appointment management, payments and subscriptions, inventory, and other day-to-day clinical operations.

• Designed, developed, and maintained both mobile applications for Android and iOS, ensuring consistent functionality and user experience across platforms;
• Took ownership of UI/UX design alongside engineering, creating prototypes, defining user flows, and delivering final designs for new features;
• Translated product requirements into user-friendly mobile interfaces and implemented the designed solutions across both applications;
• Designed and delivered a comprehensive UI/UX revamp across the mobile applications, modernizing the overall user experience and visual design;

A live online poker platform that allowed players to participate in real-time games against professional dealers at physical poker tables. The platform streamed live video and audio from the tables, providing an interactive casino experience remotely. The platform also supported cryptocurrency-based payments, enabling users to fund their accounts and participate in games using digital currencies.

• Served as one of two engineers on the platform in a part-time contract role;
• Owned the player client and dealer console;
• Contributed across the Node.js and Express.js backend using MongoDB and Redis;
• Built middleware connecting the backend to physical poker tables via RFID readers for real-time card detection;
• Shipped the marketing site in Next.js with static generation and SEO;
• Ran the AWS infrastructure using Amazon EC2, Amazon ECS, Route 53, Amazon CloudFront, and Amazon S3.
