Illia – Typescript, JavaScript, Vue.js

A video platform for fast video recording, sharing, and editing. Designed for asynchronous communication in large teams

On this project, IIllia has started to work as a software engineer mainly focusing on the client's side part. His main responsibility is to work on the React application. As it has a lot of complicated features, he mostly focused on video recording functionality. His main goal was to achieve network-free multirecording (screen sharing, camera, video) and improve it if needed. Also, due to browser limitations, he is working on the Electron application, basically replicating the functionality of the browser version and being able to run it on all platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Designing core feature: video recording;
• Supporting shared code between browser and electron app;
• Offline functionality;
• Video editor;
• Providing architectural solutions.

Text-rich editor for dynamic text generation. Neuraltext is focused on helping SEO specialists to create/generate (before AI became mainstream :D)/edits much faster than ever before! The application is a rich client-side application. The main challenge was to orchestrate with a huge amount of data only on the client and keep the app performant.

• Built an editor application from scratch, choosing technologies to architect solutions;
• Was in charge of performance tracking;
• Made UX&UI decisions.

Communication app. The main features include calls, video connection, and recordings. Also, after a meeting, users can see the word cloud with the majority of topics used in a meeting.

Illia was working on the web version of the application, where part of the micro-front was the application with the video player. His main goal was to develop a video player with an asynchronous "transcript" feed. This page also included "stories" functionality. Working on this part he had to provide a smooth experience between video, reactions, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Conducted e2e testing;
• Implemented audio and video functionality;
• Created a custom player using a plugin system;
• Improved the performance of the application.
• Added Stories.

A public API for building dynamic forms. Customers can use this API and make a custom frontend with it.

• Engineered workflow tools and offline-first support via IndexedDB.
• Designed JavaScript APIs for customizable frontend forms

A project that provides functionality like Google Spreadsheets, private tabs with tables, and a very cool system of permissions.

• Worked on a tab system and performance for cells;
• Created a custom UI engine;
• Used a service worker for fast loading and static caching on the client, saving the latest changes in memory.
