A flight fulfillment platform for a large European travel group. It handles every change to a flight booking after purchase: new dates or routes, luggage, cancellations, and disruptions caused by airlines and airports. It connects to airlines' reservation systems via REST and SOAP APIs, keeping customer bookings in sync with carriers without manual work. The platform is serverless and event-driven, serving several European markets.

• Owned the serverless Node.js/TypeScript services that process booking changes from the Belgian and Dutch flight providers, integrating the New Skies and Transavia REST/SOAP APIs to keep customer reservations in sync with the carriers.
• Owned CI/CD end-to-end: GitLab pipelines and deployments across testing, pre-production, and production environments.
• Built cross-service communication on SNS/SQS, with DynamoDB for persistence.
• Fixed mis-tagged Datadog distributed traces for AWS Lambda by isolating environment variables, restoring reliable observability across services.
• Championed strict schema contracts and shared enums across services and aligned stakeholders on the upfront trade-off to reduce cross-service integration bugs.
• Covered services with Vitest unit tests and Gherkin/Cucumber.js integration tests.

Digital banking software for a large US financial institution, built as microservices in C#, Go, and Node.js with Angular front-ends. The services run on Kubernetes across a multi-repository codebase and are shipped via Jenkins pipelines.

• Maintained and extended microservices in C#, Go and Node.js/TypeScript, plus Angular front-ends, across a multi-repository codebase on Kubernetes.
• Owned each task from start to finish: implementation, GitHub pull-request review, Jenkins pipelines and production deployment.
• Wrote Jasmine unit tests, Cypress component and UI tests, and Gherkin/Cucumber.js integration tests.

An internal web application for a pharmaceutical distribution company, supporting the company's day-to-day operational workflows.

• Built the internal web application end-to-end, with a Node.js backend and a Vue 3 frontend.

A clinical-trial platform that pharma and biotech sponsors use to run virtual (decentralized) clinical studies, collecting patient data through web and mobile apps. Its internal developer platform provides product teams with shared microservices for building study applications, including event delivery and deployment tooling. The services run on Kubernetes across multiple workspaces.

• Maintained the platform's custom CI/CD (GitLab, Argo Workflows, and Argo CD), deploying services to multiple workspaces for the developers building study applications.
• Maintained the Event Service, a pub/sub system that processes and delivers events from any service to its subscriber services.
• Built Node.js/TypeScript microservices with MongoDB and contributed to React front-ends.
• Wrote Jest/moq.ts unit tests and Gherkin/Cucumber.js integration tests; peer-reviewed code in GitLab.
• Served as a technical interviewer for Angular, JavaScript, Node.js, and PHP candidates.

The backend for a large US restaurant chain's Webby Award-winning online ordering experience across web and mobile. It runs as serverless microservices on AWS, with workflows coordinated by Step Functions and services connected through API Gateway and EventBridge.
