• Led an effort to migrate the platform from a SCSS design system to Tailwind-based React components.
• Reviewed a large number of PRs from open source contributors.
• Completed an Expo rewrite of the platform’s native mobile app in under 3 months with the help of Claude Code.
• Worked on customer-facing Rails features such as wishlists and in-app purchase support.
• Helped migrate the Helper customer support tool from Django to Next.js.
• Expanded Helper from a simple reply drafting app into a fully-fledged agentic ticketing system.

A popular open source publishing platform built for blogs, news organizations, and anyone who wants to build and monetize an audience around their work.

• Worked with the design lead to develop the platform's new settings UI in React and TypeScript.
• Helped other team members learn the stack.
• Set up a flexible architecture to speed up building admin UIs across the company.

A platform selling a range of products that allow people to experience Japanese food and culture overseas, including subscription boxes and an online crane game.

• Mentored and grew the development and design teams from a total of 6 to more than 20 members.
• Supported team members’ desire to make Next.js the framework of choice and used it to implement multiple new products.
• Built complex features such as websockets and real-time camera streaming in TypeScript to launch the crane game.
• Rebuilt the company’s shipping and operations backend to mitigate supply chain disruption during COVID-19.
• Maintained a suite of internal and customer-facing Ruby on Rails apps.
