The client is a digital e-commerce business that develops workflow and codec plugins for Adobe Creative Cloud video applications. Jose’s main focus was enhancing the online store experience and extending its functionality.

• Implemented vector database with existing documentation to use as context for semantic search with a conversational LLM.
• Researched and designed a prototype to migrate from the website’s current Payment Processor (FastSpring) to Stripe and Paddle.
• Set up Kubernetes Cluster with FluxCD to migrate existing infrastructure from AWS Lambda and a static site to their own managed NodeJs pods, and a PostgreSQL database.
• Added observability through logging and proper data schemas.

• Designed and maintained Python microservices using FastAPI and AWS Lambda to support high-volume referral and loyalty campaign workflows.
• Implemented DNS domain verification and user API key management to enable secure, programmatic access for email marketing and partner integrations.
