The ultimate benefit of cloud computing, and AWS, is the ability to leverage a new business model and turn capital infrastructure expenses into variable costs. Businesses no longer need to plan and procure servers and other IT resources weeks or months in advance. Using AWS, businesses can take advantage of Amazon's expertise and economies of scale to access resources when their business needs them, delivering results faster and at a lower cost.

• was a part of the Database Migration Service (DMS) team under AWS
• Worked on automating data migration to the cloud in the most cost-effective manner while maintaining high standards.
• Utilized a variety of relational and non-relational databases
• Designed and implemented data migration tools using a variety of AWS tools and services
• Debugged and troubleshot the application, as well as wrote integration tests for it before and after the migration to ensure that everything worked well.
• Participated in code reviews and giving feedback and direction to coworkers

iTaxoTools is an open-source software built in collaboration with a company Khushil has worked with. Taxonomists may appropriately parse and analyze biological sequences with the aid of iTaxoTools, which also displays data comparison of related species.

• Created back-end for Spart parser. (Spart is a file format that Taxonomists use to showcase data related to Individuals, Spartition, Sequences and Locations for species)
• Worked with a variety of different files to parse and compare data, including XML, spart, JSON, fasta, Gen Bank Sequence, tabfiles, xlsx, CSV, etc.
• Parsed extremely large files, which can be several gigabits, using lazy and iterative parsing algorithms
• Used manual and regression testing to find bottlenecks

Security On-Demand (SOD) is a Managed Threat Detection, Analytics & Response company. The main goal of SOD is to create analytics solutions for cybersecurity.

Main responsibilities:

• Created Back-End architecture for the project;
• Developed an algorithm to query Logs and help detect threats and malicious files contained in the email;
• Implemented and created large DataFrames using Pandas to accelerate parsing;
• Worked on Stackstorm platform to create sensors for O365, Azure-AD, Cisco_Umbrella, and AWS;
• Developed Crible data pipelines and configured data routes for cloud integrations;
• Worked on developing a service that connects to more than 50 hosts on UDP/TCP/TLS protocols and collects 30K logs/per sec;

Main accomplishments:

• Increased performance on parsing Log Aggregators, which freed up extra resources;
• Could deepen his leadership skills by helping and mentoring other developers.

UJET is a contact center platform for smartphone-era CX. The main goal of UJET is to power the world’s largest elastic CCaaS tenant at 22,000 agents globally.

Main responsibilities:

• Utilized Ruby on Rails, SQL, Firebase, and AWS to design server applications and client interfaces;
• Worked on developing SDK and web portals using Ruby on Rails that help in the customer service industry;
• Integrated Calls, Chat, and SMS into the portal with the help of Twilio integrations and managed feature flags for each service using LaunchDarkly;
• Designed and configurated database and Back-End applications and programs;
• Developed and tested APIs and accurately documented the progress of the project.
