• Client & stakeholders: Worked as an external Senior Android Consultant directly within REWE digital’s cross-functional Scrum team, collaborating daily with product and engineering stakeholders.
• Business problem & ambiguity: Evolving operational requirements had to be translated into robust mobile workflows without disrupting an established nationwide production system and its backend contracts.
• End users: Employees processing customer orders in more than 1,800 REWE supermarkets.
• Solution built: Developed and maintained Kotlin and Jetpack Compose features for Android mobile terminals connected to backend services through REST and OpenAPI interfaces.
• Delivery contribution: Contributed to architecture decisions, implementation, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, documentation and production issue analysis.
• Measurable outcome: The application supported daily retail operations in more than 1,800 stores. I contributed across two project phases spanning approximately three years.

Built and operated a white-label conversational AI platform and delivered customer-facing assistants for organizations including FC Red Bull Salzburg, an Austrian professional football club, and Therme Wien, a large thermal spa and leisure venue in Vienna.

• Client & stakeholders: Worked directly with technical and non-technical client stakeholders, including product, marketing, content and app-integration counterparts. I also aligned product scope and roadmap decisions with Toni.ai co-founders and shareholders.
• Business problem & ambiguity: Clients wanted to use conversational AI for fan or customer engagement, but the useful customer journeys, required content, data sources and delivery channels were initially not clearly defined.
• End users: Football supporters, sports audiences and leisure customers using mobile apps or messaging platforms.
• Solution built: Designed a reusable white-label platform combining NLP, structured sports and content data, FAQs, subscriptions, notifications and branded conversational interfaces.
• End-to-end ownership: Led product discovery, conversational design, architecture, backend development, integrations, AWS deployment, operations and continuous improvement based on real usage.
• Outcome: Delivered production solutions including “Eddie”, integrated directly into the existing FC Red Bull Salzburg mobile app, and a Messenger assistant for Therme Wien. The underlying platform was reused for further sports, media and event deployments.
