A Brazilian financial institution that specializes in providing banking and financial services primarily to small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) and entrepreneurs. The bank focuses on offering payment solutions, business digital accounts, and other financial services to help businesses efficiently manage their finances.

• Designed and implemented back-end architecture;
• Maintained and optimized microservices for banking system management;
• Developed financial management features/cores, ledger/statement, cash flow, loans.

A large fintech in Brazil that deals with debt recovery using registry offices. Any customer with credits and billing documents can hire the recovery platform to automate the asset collection and recovery process.

• Developed microservices with Python and AWS;
• Created back-end architecture;
• Debugged and resolved the application issues;
• ACID Database modeling;
• Web Pentest in the core application;
• Integration with legacy software/Robotic process automation;
• Implemented security measures and OWASP.

A company that works with corporate travel scheduling and expense management. It needed to integrate Banking as a Service. The previous product version was very rudimentary, the traveling employee needed to take a photo to document and prove the expenses. Luiz implemented the banking system for managing multi-tenancy accounts with a specific permission system required by the client so the client could make corporate debit cards available to employees with amounts and limits based on permission/cost center.

• Modeled the multi-tenancy API;
• Created back-end architecture;
• Developed API REST with Django-Ninja, and Pydantic schemas with swagger integration to generate docs;
• Managed the integration with BaaS(Swap Financial);
• Led the back-end team on this project and organized meetings with the client for feedback.

A marketplace for athletes and sports photographers. Photographers upload images from a specific event, and the AI identifies the number of athletes so they can search and filter specific photos by athlete ID.

One of the biggest universities in Brazil. The projects Luiz worked on were some web applications to assist in the internal management of the company and deal with internal audit issues, revenue, billing, and management of departments.

• Created triggers and routines to generate a history of database transactions;
• Managed and configurated the RedHat server for the deployment of the stage/production environment;
• Implemented CI/CD with Gitlab;
• Implemented docker/swarm to work with Brokers and Workers for messaging and queue system using RabbitMQ and Celery;
• Developed all the back-end with Django Rest Framework and used swagger to create interactive docs so the front could use in the development;
• Managed some tasks as a DevOps;
• Configured Nginx, load balancer, and domains for the intranet application.
