Mariam – Python, SQL, Microsoft Power BI

The client was the world’s leading provider of products and services for individuals with renal diseases. The aim of the project was to develop a sustainable process to streamline and bridge the gap of HR data analysis across multiple countries, ensure data integrity, and validate data accuracy for effective reporting and data-driven decision making.

Mariam successfully implemented the following tasks:

• managed the extraction, transformation & loading of EMEA data;
• automated data integration processes;
• data migration to cloud-based storage;
• collaborated with local HR stakeholders across EMEA countries;
• designed data analysis & reporting solutions.

The client was a renowned manufacturer of modern, luxurious vehicles. Transistioning and adoption of new data processing and analysis was a key factor towards achieving their Reimagine strategy, to transform its industrial operations within the supply chain department.

The purpose of the project was to build and develop statistical analysis on how they build and sell their vehicles, and how that differs from market to market & country to country: from sourcing and delivering parts through to constructing & manufacturing the car, right the way through to where they were being distributed and how they were sold.

Among others, Mariam achieved the following:

• introduced a more robust data processing methods;
• integrated data from various sources;
• designed & maintained dashboards and reports;
• optimized the supply chain processes;
• collaborated with various internal & external stakeholders;
• facilitated an open communication with the suppliers.

PERSONAL PROJECT

A vertical search engine that retrieves publications from a university website and classifies them into into their appropriate sectors. This is a solution for both researchers and university student to retrieve publications that is most relevant to their interest, efficiently and smoothly.

• Retrieved data information from the web;
• Worked on text classification;
• Built a vertical search engine;
• Implemented advanced full-text search.

The client dealt with countless products moving through a complex network of suppliers, warehouses and distribution centers before reaching the end customers. The main goal was to analyze ways to optimize the company's operations, enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction, leveraging data analytics.

Mariam's carried out the following responsibilities:

• collaborated with stakeholders to identify the Key Performace Indicators(KPIs);
• gathered and integrated data from various sources;
• created interactive dashboards & reports to visualize key metrics;
• built predictive analysis to forecast future patterns;
• resulted to the enchancment of operational efficiency, informed decision-making within the stakeholders, and improved customer satisfaction.
