A next-generation Applicant Tracking System (ATS). The product includes AI Notetaker features, smart candidate review, and automated candidate sourcing.

• Developed web and data processing applications in React, Django, Python on GCP tooling in a FullStack, but Backend/DevOps-leaning role;
• Designed scalable data ingestion systems to process large scales of candidates;
• Drove the migration to infrastructure as code;
• Carried out the security work to modernize and secure practices and infrastructure and meet compliance goals;
• Worked on observability and monitoring tooling to help us scale.

A SOC2- and SOX-compliant data application that handled 15-20M records per day and correlated events with users' purchases, which was then used to determine payouts for instructors on the Udemy platform. This system had to be auditable, accurate, resilient, recoverable, and fast, as the output was used for financial processing.

• Developed a highly scalable Scala Spark streaming data application
• Wrote Python and JS SDKs;
• Created a code for a web application (written using Python/Django);
• Managed a Google Tag Manager migration to server-side tags;
• Was responsible for leading the engineering team.

A B2B SaaS platform that combines Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ), e-signature, and billing into a single, unified revenue operation system.

• Helped develop MVP products and consulted on early product development;
• Provided full-stack, backend-leaning software development with a focus on 3rd party integrations, webhooks, and public APIs.
• Contributed to the invoicing system integrations for data syncing to QuickBooks.
• Worked with engineering team to establish best practices for security and data privacy.
• Helped junior engineers grow through coaching and focused collaborative development time.

A small startup-within-a-startup R&D team building an Enterprise Access Control System (the system used to badge into a building) from scratch, growing it from a prototype to a well-selling product.

• Built the web services to power the access control product, contributed to processes starting from firmware to backend microservice web services to infrastructure in Python/Go web backend code, and Python, Bash, and C device firmware.
• Created an Automated Hardware testing system used to physically update, actuate, and emulate credentials to test access control hardware. This used a custom GitHub Actions runner to run automated hardware testing with a build of the code changes straight from your GitHub PR!
• Tackled evolving growth challenges from designing and building the base product to IoT and infrastructure scaling challenges.
