Matias – PHP, React, JavaScript

A multi-brand car dealership representing General Motors, Nissan, Volkswagen, and Ducati. It owns several internal and external systems and has multiple SPAs for information and e-commerce. Processed over 3MM USD in online payments.

Matias was the main developer in charge of frontend and backend development, working in conjunction with a UI/UX designer.

Main accomplishments:

• Designed the database model to provide support to business activities;
• Defined and implemented a software solution to serve as a CRM and content management;
• Defined and implemented API to expose services to SPAs;
• Designed and implemented automatic testing pipelines to cover the most important revenue funnels.
• Created several SPAs with AngularJS and React, consuming internal and external APIs;
• Processed over 3MM USD in online payments.

Virtual event platform that provides a service for video calls on top of a virtual environment composed of tables/rooms and seats. Every table or room is a different conversation, but it also has a presentation mode for the whole attendance.

Matias contributed as a Full-Stack Engineer, mainly adding new features and improvements to our NodeJS APIs and the React single-page app. ​ Main accomplishments:

• Implemented new features, such as polling and event rating.
• Performed maintenance and bug fixes.
• Created platform stability tests to ensure the proper work of the product during events.

A Database Performance Monitoring startup, acquired by SolarWinds on December 2019.

Matias worked mainly with the client-facing single-page application and its PHP middleware, in charge of consuming the time-series information and presenting it in different formant to users for exploring and querying.

Main accomplishments:

• Implemented multiple new features;
• Led a migration from AngularJS to React;
• Improved the local development environment for the SPA;
• Improved the CI pipelines with performance, linting, integration testing, and coding style checks.

An identity theft monitoring and protection startup that plays an essential role in the economy by helping companies in diverse industries such as automotive, communications, utilities, financial services, fintech, healthcare, insurance, mortgage, professional services, retail, e-commerce, and government agencies, make critical decisions with greater confidence

Matias worked in the frontend team, mainly contributing to the maintenance and new features and customizing the UI for different vendors who sold their services under their brand. Around 2015 he also took on the leading role.

• Successfully implemented new features and bug fixes;
• Delivered custom UI implementations for vendors;
• Led a team of remote developers. Mentored junior developers to become proficient in JavaScript development;
• Led the task definition, planning, and project management.
