A financial services ecosystem that manages mortgages and tax obligations for U.S. citizens, supporting the calculation and generation of required tax payments. The platform integrates frontend and backend applications, APIs, and Kafka-based messaging to support reliable processing and production operations. My role involves supporting the entire ecosystem by monitoring frontend and backend applications, including APIs and Kafka queue maintenance, and addressing incidents flagged by the alerting system.

• Automated production support using an agent and MCP server to apply known solutions and define scheduled executions;
• Helped create solutions to improve the performance of date calculations and return results according to business rules;
• Helped apply a rules engine to define new business rules;
• Improved application performance by tuning database queries;
• Added new frontend functionality through API calls to other applications;
• Migrated applications from Google Cloud Foundry to GK.

A banking transaction platform supporting operations such as authorization, cancellation, and balance transfers for transactions made with bank-issued cards. The project focused on maintaining legacy applications and migrating them to a new cloud technology stack.

• Provided production support for applications built on WAS 8 using JSF and Java Core, addressing application issues and maintaining existing functionality;
• Provided ongoing support and maintenance for legacy applications built with Java 8, ensuring their continued operation;
• Created new microservices to ingest data from EBUS and the mainframe (banking core) into Java applications, enabling data integration with existing systems.

An application for managing DNA samples to generate genetic results and deliver them to the clients who requested them. Sample processing is automated using robots that upload data to the cloud; the data is then processed and displayed in reports accessible to clients.

• Led the analysis and resolution of issues related to GraphQL queries;
• Implemented changes in the React frontend application to retrieve data from the backend;
• Implemented changes and enhancements to existing microservices;
• Generated reports and data visualizations using Google Data Studio;
• Collaborated with engineering and product teams to maintain productivity and minimize bottlenecks.

A nonprofit platform that manages donated funds to support children with cancer and promotes the assistance provided to affected families. The digital ecosystem is built on AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) and hosts the applications and media used to communicate the organization’s programs and fundraising activities.

• Created endpoints to be consumed by external systems outside the AEM environment;
• Created GraphQL models for consuming assets from the AEM environment;
• Developed JavaScript frontend functionality to allow users to log in and complete the donation process;
• Created services to consume information from Salesforce using MuleSoft;
• Validated authentication with Okta for external services.
