A wellness app that connects via Bluetooth to a device that emits laser and LED lights, and it's used for improving skin quality, as well as relaxing the patients.

Nicolas handled the following:

• took responsibility for all the software products;
• developed the new versions of the app ((v2) in React Native - v1 of the company's app was on Ionics);
• improved processes and automated several tasks;
• made 3 clones from the same codebase (whitelabels) for distribution in different markets;
• took on a leadership role for other developers at front and backend positions.

The product offers web and mobile OTT platforms for video and podcast content.

The main features Nicolas was working on were:

• OTT web and mobile apps;
• CMS system for managing content;
• payments with Stripe, Google Pay, Apple Pay;
• whitelabel product apps;
• automatic CI/CD deployment and publishing process;
• Fastlane, Firebase, Revenuecat integrations.

Nicolas successfully completed the following tasks:

• helped to automate the deployment and publishing process, as well as create a single monorepo whitelabel project for all of their brands;
• refactored the code and added Typescript, Testing, and extended the software in order to be capable of adding/removing products from the "whitelabel" paradigm;
• created a frontend and backend part, CMS system, in order to manage the content viewed on the apps;
• reported and solved bugs;
• updated practices and libraries;
• proposed improvements;
• took ownership of the software platform, frontend, backend, and mobile.

Nicolas coped with the following tasks:

• made the designs of both mobile and TV apps;
• implemented security services to prevent copying of content;
• developed a system whereby film festivals can program content, thereby serving as "live festivals";
• automated publishing processes and creating both Google and Apple profiles for publishing the apps;
• integrated Firebase apps, and managed Firebase services.

• modernized the website;
• developed the backend part;
• created CMS system for content management of the website;
• integrated HubSpot for marketing;
• managed to give the company a system through which they could dynamically edit the content of the website, without the need for a programmer to change it from the code.
