The company is one of the largest insurance broker companies in LATAM and is also affiliated with North American insurance companies.
- Engineered, developed, and deployed an Insurance Broker software using React, Django, Celery, Redis, Postgres, and MongoDB;
- Worked as a full-stack developer, specializing in implementing REST APIs for new services and adjusting the front end accordingly;
- Planned and executed the migration of a portion of the current infrastructure from GCP to a local tier 3 cloud to comply with ISO 27001 regulations;
- Utilized GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana as part of the infrastructure and deployment stack.
Senior DevOps Engineer
The project is a well-established scenic arts academy with several subsidiaries in Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Their goal was to showcase their talented students and productions to a wider audience beyond the theater. Now, they have the ability to invite anyone they choose to their private platform.
- Engineered and developed a video streaming solution based on the Jellyfin Open Source Server for media streaming;
- Dockerized the server and deployed the solution with Kubernetes;
- Engineered and wrote conversion and upload bash scripts for media files, focusing on small file sizes and best picture quality using FFmpeg;
- Managed the full CI/CD cycle for deployment on Linode, AWS, and Azure;
- Linode was chosen as an option due to low data transfer costs, so the project was prepared to work in any cloud environment;
- Utilized a development stack including GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, AWS VPC, EKS, S3, Route 53, CloudFormation, Linode LKE, S3, and DNS Manager;

- Redesigned the network infrastructure and data center to implement task automation with Ansible;
- Migrated the virtual machines and volumes from a VMWare environment to an XCP-ng environment;
- Configurated the XCP-ng cluster and data center networking equipment;
- Containerized in-house developed systems;
- Configured web servers and DNS;
- Scripted the provisioning of new and/or renewed VMs and containers, and automated all networking tasks (updates and network changes with GitOps);
- Implemented a CI/CD pipeline.
DevOps Engineer

- Engineered, architected, and deployed cloud migrations and tailor-made solutions based on Open Source software (mainly Moodle and OpenCart) for cloud deployment on AWS;

- Configured DNS with Route 53;
- Used AWS CloudFormation to save templates for fast recovery and rapid deployment of development environments;
