It is an educational technology company based in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. It is the developer and publisher of Canvas, a web-based learning management system (LMS), and MasteryConnect, an assessment management system.

• Developed and maintained LTI services for a MOOC Application;
• Designed web-service and micro-service infrastructure for receiving data through RESTful APIs to communicate with the Rails Framework;
• Managed the database integrity and inconsistencies across several institutions due to the sensitive behavior;
• Integrated the web application with designs, philosophies, and constraints;
• Managed and documented the application through the best practices already available through state-of-the-art research related to Software Project management.

• Assessed Rails/Ruby Source-code on both back and front-end;
• Created integration with security alert and logging tools;
• Refactored and did source-code improvement;
• Removed possible SQL injections;
• Was responsible for integrating AWS Secrets Manager and ParameterStore;
• Created a secure environment for sharing credentials using Keybase.io.

The company, founded in 2004 and headquartered in Salvador, Bahia, is a private, non-profit institution whose purpose is to carry out Research, Development, and Innovation (RD&I) in the area of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

• Debugged and refactored the application, including upgrading Rails to its latest version;
