A merchant onboarding and management platform for a consumer credit provider, taking businesses from registration through verification and internal approval to becoming live and offering the credit product at checkout. It supports self-service onboarding and management for merchants, alongside review and approval workflows for internal risk, compliance, and operations teams.

• Built merchant-facing and internal web applications in TypeScript using React and Next.js.
• Cut the merchant onboarding SLA by up to 75 percent by replacing manual internal steps with automated flows.
• Owned the service that handled merchant onboarding and merchant data across web interfaces and backend services.
• Wrote and maintained frontend tests using Playwright and worked with build tooling including Webpack and Vite.
• Delivered internationalised interfaces to support multiple languages.
• Worked with the information security team to harden the application.
• Implemented and maintained authentication and authorisation using OAuth, JWT, and SSO.
• Monitored and troubleshot frontend and production service performance using Datadog, New Relic, and Scalyr.
• Reduced Docker build time and image size by approximately 50 percent by optimising the build script.
• Wrote backend services in Node.js and Go and designed the REST APIs consumed by frontend clients.
