Shefqet – React Native, React, JavaScript

The project Shefqet contributed to was an application within the industries of expense management and ticketing.

• Contributed to the testing of the application (jest, enzyme, react-native-testing-library);
• Gained extensive experience in other areas such as web-based apps, cookie management, security, biometrics, etc.;
• Participated in code reviews;
• Experimented with native code and solved issues with third-party libs;
• Developed some key soft skills and led technical interviews for new React Native developers.

This product represents every online service in one single telecom app, available everywhere and anytime for every prepaid, postpaid, or broadband & TV customer.

The main functions of the project are:

• allows keeping track of the client's account on the go, to track the usage, broadband & TV line status in real time;
• manages all of the services in one place, allowing the change or renewal of the user's plan, and getting daily/weekly gifts;
• the user may upgrade or renew their current plan directly from their smartphone, browse & purchase bundles and extras, such as add-ons or roaming bundles, and top-up their phone or someone else’s, view and pay monthly bills postpaid and Broadband & TV customers.
• allows the payment of parking tickets, checking their network and Wi-Fi speed, and much more.

• worked in a large hybrid application;
• built multiple front-end components library that was then integrated into the main app;
• implemented dynamic & reusable components;
• created performant features with multiple screens & tabs;
• introduced smooth animations;
• integrated with different providers;
• debugged and resolved the application issues;
• distributed testing builds using Visual Studio App Center;
• worked with a team under agile methodology, mainly using the Scrum framework.

The project aimed at making sure that the user will no longer need a traditional fiscal cash register! Clients can use their phone as a cash register with the ability to connect and print receipts with a Bluetooth printer, and the sales declarations will easily be made directly from the mobile phone in real-time to the Central Tax Administration. The tool allows to:

• manage product and services list directly from the application;
• monitor the client's business remotely;
• cancel invoices and give refunds directly within the application;
• apply discounts on products and services as needed;
• send electronic invoices to clients by email, issue invoices for businesses or individuals, manage your business's locations, users, devices, taxes, and much more.

• created performant screens with a large dynamic number of tabs;

The application gives the client access to their digital teacher companion, through a simple encrypted login. In just a few steps, they will be able to:

• manage the teaching process easier by keeping track of everything;
• securely access their subjects, notes, and timetable;
• build up the student-teacher rapport effortlessly with all data at their fingertips;
• monitor pupil's behavior online and offline and manage their attendance rate, and rewards;
• engage the teachers, students, and parents through analytics in the education process, create reports and use that data to dynamically understand how everyone engages with your school.
