Stepan – Vue.js, Laravel, PHP

Flexible subscription solution for high-growth, consumer-obsessed CPG brands. Mainly built around Shopify.

• Fixed multiple infrastructure issues;
• Created a base for complex analytics;
• Improved the performance of the queue that handles millions of jobs per day;
• On the front end pushed for the use of storybook, typescript, and more reusable components;

This project was a relaunch of Stepan's old project for the international market. It had 20k users, 400k artworks, and a lot of other data migrated to the new DB format. All code was 100% rewritten from the scratch using Laravel + Vue and hosted in managed Kubernetes on DigitalOcean.

• created front-end and back-end architecture;
• set up CI/CD using GitLab and DigitalOcean managed Kubernetes;
• wrote API tests;
• managed a small team of freelancers;
• wrote all of the backend code using Laravel;
• wrote 70% of frontend code using Vue.

• Created a new admin page architecture from a scratch using Vue SPA and PHP;
• Led a team of 2 back-end and 3 front-end developers;
• Created a CD system for the new project.

Patient - Hospital CRM

• Recreated MVP built by CTO on WordPress with Laravel;
• Moved it to Vue SPA;
• Dockerized everything;
• Created CI environment and tests;
• Pushed for Kubernetes and CD, prepared the switch;
• Passed regular security audits.

A small web development agency that Stepan created (at peak 10 people) was mainly focused on medium+ custom-made from scratch projects. Most of the clients were mass media that anticipated a high load on their sites. Also did high-load consulting for existing projects.
