Vasil – PHP, React, JavaScript

Nuweb is a Chrome extension that lets the user change the design within your browser. One can use it on any website, and it'll detect if one uses Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap in order to suggest alternative classes. It lets the user preview classes easily, manipulate the DOM, and even convert any CSS to Tailwind CSS.

• Implemented the extension from the ground up;
• Wrote unit tests that cover converting style to Tailwind CSS;
• Wrote a simple backend with pure PHP that checks for licenses and converts to Tailwind CSS;
• Optimized for speed of the lists of thousands of possible classes.

ContentMutual is a content exchange platform on the blockchain. In 2014 it started just as a content exchange, authors could publish content, and publishers used the content and paid by the view. Then after a few years, they implemented a Solidity contract, so users could use that as a second method to earn. There are features like detecting duplicate content, takedown notifications for content, content versioning, negotiations, fetching content from the author's blog, and writing content right on the platform.

• Created the architecture of the platform with scaling in mind;
• Setup the platform completely to Amazon Web Services and led a small team;
• Implemented NFT minting for authors, wrote a smart contract for escrow payments, and integrated it seamlessly on the frontend;
• Communicated with the CEO on a daily basis regarding the technology and the team.

StaffConnect is an event management staffing platform. The agencies post short-term jobs, and applicants apply for them. It covers the whole process from application to final payments. Vasil worked here as a software engineer, helping the CEO who was the main developer. After the first 6 months, Vasil was working on the most complex tasks and completely replaced the technical work of the CEO.

• Worked on building a whole new multi-server architecture for the backend while serving 500k users worldwide;
• Was involved in every aspect of the platform - frontend, backend, web sockets, queues, mail servers, implementing new features and improving current ones;
• Handled the root passwords and all that was needed;
• Built a few smaller sub-projects using React, Caddy server, and many experimental technologies.

Nulius is a project proposal tool - it offers a nice editor where you can write your project proposals with custom fields and templates that can be reused. There are features like negotiations, notifications of client's actions, and statistics.

• Led a team of developers and a designer, creating high-level design and coding standards;
• Spoke at local IT and motivational events to engage the community and promote the product.

E-auctions is an auction platform for the Public Revenue Office of the Republic of North Macedonia. It facilitates the process of auctioning items gathered by the government. The officials are able to publish items, and anyone can bid for them.

• Implemented the backend and frontend;
• Communicated with the officials about the requirements;
• Trained the officials on how to use the platform;
• Led a small team of 3 people.
